De IT Consultant (Thomas Baetens, Evergem, Belgium) is responsible for the personal data processed through this website. Contact: info@deitconsultant.be.

What and why

When you use the contact form we receive your name, role and organisation, email address and message. We use them only to answer you and, if you want, to prepare an engagement (legal basis: steps prior to a contract, or our legitimate interest in answering you).

How long

We keep contact requests for up to two years after the last contact, unless they lead to an engagement; then the contract terms apply.

Who else

The website runs on Cloudflare (hosting, security and spam protection with Cloudflare Turnstile). Messages are delivered to our mailbox in Microsoft 365. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a human sends the form without tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy, by mailing info@deitconsultant.be. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
